Sooyeon Choi, M.D.
Principal Investigator – Women’s Health
Sooyeon Choi, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in women’s health, urogynecology and general medicine.
After completing her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Dr. Choi attended residency at John Peter Smith Network. She then completed her Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship at Texas Health Presbyterian in Dallas. Dr. Choi is currently a practicing physician at Walnut Hill OBGYN and a Principal Investigator at Cedar Health Research.
Her passion for women’s health led her get involved in clinical research to help advance treatments for female-related health conditions. Dr. Choi has been involved in numerous trials in the areas of women’s health, oncology and infectious disease. She is also fully trained in Good Clinical Practices and Clinical Investigator Essentials.
Through her work in research as well as in her practice, Dr. Choi strives to improve the health of those in the local community and beyond.
