Maria Acuna

Maria was born in Colombia but moved to the US with her family when she was 5 years old. She has always enjoyed science and healthcare. When Maria graduated high school, sher decided to attend to the University of Central Florida to get her bachelor’s degree in health sciences. While she was in college, she had her first role in healthcare as an MA at an OBGYN office. Once she graduated, she began working as a Research Assistant in a research clinic, and after only a few months she moved up to a CRC position. After a couple of years she decided to move to Dallas where her research journey continued at Cedar Health Research… and the rest is history!
Some fun facts:
• I have two puppies: Luna and Dallas.
• I am *kind of* tri-lingual.
• And candy is my love language, unfortunately
