Irene Arroyo, DPM

Investigator – Podiatry

Dr. Irene Arroyo is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with board certifications from the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery who will be conducting clinical trials for Cedar Health Research.

Dr. Arroyo’s academic background includes a Doctor in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her 3-year residency program in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center/SCPM in Chicago, IL. During the final year of her residency, Dr. Arroyo served as co-chief resident. During her residency she developed clinical interests in foot and ankle pathology, elective surgery, trauma, and limb salvage. She currently practices as a physician at Dallas Podiatry Works and is Chief of Podiatric Medicine at Merit Drive Dallas.

Dr. Arroyo is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.

She joins the Cedar Health Research Team as an Investigator of Podiatry. She enjoys staying abreast of the latest knowledge and research in her field and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
