Courtney McClurkin, DPM

Investigator – Podiatry

Dr. Courtney McClurkin is a board-certified Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) who will be conducting clinical trials for Cedar Health Research.

Dr. McClurkin’s academic background includes a Master of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology from DeSales University. She went on to attend the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She currently practices as a physician at Dallas Podiatry Works.

Dr. McClurkin has a substantial background in scientific research and has worked as a Research Specialist and Research Assistant. She is a member of the Texas Podiatric Medicine Association (TPMA), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is passionate and focused on at-risk diabetic foot care, as well as growing aspects of her field that have less focus and awareness.

Dr. McClurkin’s abundant knowledge and commitment to researching podiatry is a huge asset to the Cedar Health Research team. She is a former tri-sport collegiate athlete and is also passionate about Sports Medicine.
