Madhuri Devdhar, M.D.
Investigator – Endocrinology
Dr. Madhuri Devdhar is double board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology who began her career in academia at George Washington University in Washington D.C. and is now a perennially recognized top doctor in the DFW area. She has an extensive background in research with studies done on obesity, diabetes, and hypothyroidism. She also has publications on all of these topics. Dr. Devdhar will be conducting clinical trials in Endocrinology for Cedar Health Research.
Dr. Devdhar’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery from Bangalore Medical College in Bangalore, India. Upon completion, she interned at Temple University/Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Internal Medicine. She later completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Devdhar is currently practicing at Bedford Endocrinology PLLC.
Dr. Devdhar has several professional affiliations as a member of The Endocrine Society, The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American Thyroid Association. She is dedicated to furthering her understanding and knowledge in the field of Endocrinology.
Dr. Devdhar has contributed her skills as a volunteer physician at the Bangalore Kidney Foundation in India. She enjoys Classical Indian music, has earned a bachelor’s degree in the most ancient Indian language, Sanskrit, and is passionate about sharing her culture with others.
